Bemis Family Vacation – Florida Keys May 2009 … Florida Vacation 2009 sv

I plan on taking a week long vacation soon (in Arizona) and plan to rent a car. Is it a good idea to buy the collision damage waivers (adding about $20-$25) per day the cost of a car rental. I do have auto insurance that could cover me if there was damage, but that of course involves a claim against my insurance potentially increasing my rates. Any suggestions or advice?

I am 23 and I am getting ready for dental school interviews. :)

I am flying to arizona, penn, ny, florida and many more. basically all around the states. I need an advice on getting car rentals for affordable price. I went to all the websites and found where has the cheapest rates. However, I would suspect there can be hidden charges and many websites do not disclose age penalty. It totally sucks…

And about insurance, I have my own car insurance, do I still have to get the other car insured? Or is there any way I can put something on my insurance to have them cover the rented car?

It sucks to be 23!! Please help!

I will be spending 3 months in Irvine in the summer and am unsure as to how I should go about aquiring a car. Is it possible to get leases that are just 3months long?
Am I just better off renting a car from somewhere like Alamo?

Will they give me a better rate as I am taking a car for a long time?

Are there companies who specialise in these sorts of longer term hires?

I’m on quite a strict budget $ 5000 to last the 3 months including rent etc. so the budget option is definately preferrable!

Thanks
Anyone help me?!

Several years ago my husband and I bought a new van and traded in the old car. At the financial part, we were told our credit was excellent. BUT the most we’d ever borrowed was a small amount (9,000), so we had to pay a higher interest rate. Our van was around 18,000. So now we are moving and hoping to buy a house after our move. Will the same frustration happen with a house mortgage? We’ve tried really hard to build and keep excellent credit. It makes me sick to know we could be penalized yet again. So what do you think? Should the morgage interest rate reflect our good credit or will we get a lower rating yet again because we’ve not borrowed thousands upon thousands of dollars (looking to buy a house that is 90k-130k).

Rome specifically, but some sort of tour would be okay as well. I am not planning right away, but would love to look through some all inclusive vacations. I have already looked on some of the major travel sites (travelocity, orbitz, yahoo travel) and didn’t find any vacation packages. Please and thank you!

Vacation?

Some friends and I are planning a vacation to Orange Beach, AL in the middle of August. What are some good places to eat, bars, night life? We’re gonna be on the beach all day so we need something fun to do at night! (We’re all over 21!) Thanks!

I’m a single male in my 20’s, I’m working my first real job and I have two weeks of vacation time which I’d like to use sometime during the summer. Unfortunately, all my friends are busy or are unemployed and too poor to go anywhere or do anything. I want to go someplace new and exotic, but if I do, I’ll be going alone. Where should I go and what should I do?
