im a college student from the mainland and im thinking about taking a summer class at UH Manoa. i would be there for 6-7 weeks and i was going to check on getting transferred (i work in retail) to ala moana for the little while im there to make some money, because we have a store there. anyways, for only 6-7 weeks im pretty sure it would be dumb to ship a car there and back SO my question is this: does anyone know of a way or a company that offers discounts on long-term car rentals? kind of like hotels that rent long term for cheaper rates? or does anyone simply have any advice about it? i know theres public transportation but going to school and working and wanting to have some fun all at the same time equals me wanting the freedom of my own vehicle to get around in. anyways, any advice would br helpful. thanks.

and by the way, the summer program at UH sets you up in a dorm or apartment so a hotel cost isnt a factor.

Im planning a vacation for the fall since I hate the cold. I wanted to go somewhere warm and beachy, like maybe the carribeans or South America. But I dont know where to go. Is there a particular country that would be like a beach bum fantasy. I am in college so I want to go somewhere thats 800 or less roundtrip. Any suggestions?

When I bend a string up (not down) more than a semitone, the strings above it catch and vibrate. I’m learning the Hotel California solo and the very beginning part sounds horrid because when I bend from 10 to 12 on the B string, the G and D get caught somehow and when I release the bend, they vibrate and give me unwanted noise that sounds horrible. I’ve tried muting with my right palm, but I always end up muting the B string too. How can I fix this?

My friends and I (all of us being sixteen) will be in need of a room when we go to California this Summer.

Will we be able to rent one?

And, if we can’t do it ourselves, could we have a parent book it for us, somehow? Would that work?
