AAA forecasted a 1% drop in holiday travel this past weekend due to rising gas prices, rising rental car rates, etc. If the prediction was correct, this will be the first time there has been a decrease in holiday travel since 2001.

WashingtonDC usually sees 13% of its population travel during Memorial Day weekend. If this year only 12% of the population is travelling, how many fewer of its 590,000 residents will be travelling this year than travelled last year? (The population in 2007 was 588,000.)

We are going to be in the Philippines this December. I wanted to know where to rent a luxury car for a week or a month. I wanted a luxury car because I am bringing with me my boss and a few co workers from San Francisco. I want to give them a good impression. This is our 2006 Orlando trip we took with Mom, Dad, and Brandon. We stayed at the Orange lake resort. It had a lot of activities there, including basketball, tennis, golf course, eight pools (one Olympic size), a water slide, and more. We are in the process of renting a vacation home and want to be sure that when we get to our destination it’s not a scam. You typically have to pay the rental price up front (or a large portion of it). What are your options if you go on vacation and find that the property is not what was advertised? Once they have you rmoney, what can you do? I hate to be so untrusting, but there are so many people out there these days looking for ways to rip others off.

Thanks for reading my question. I was in a car accident about a wek ago. It is not my fault, and the police confirmed that. Now my car still runs but I have a window that is open, and I’m worried about security and rain. The other driver insurance company is taking so long. What should I do. I am in florida by the way, and I am insured too. Should I let my insurance cover it and let them deal with the other drivers insurance? (Will this make my insurance rate go up?) Should I bring the car to a repair shop and get a rental car and let them reimburse me later? Thanks again.
