I am flying into Sarasota/Bradenton on Saturday July 21 and coming back the following Saturday. I want to rent a car at the airport for the whole week and I am getting prices that are kind of insane. Anybody know of anyway to get any cheaper rates…even priceline was denying every price I put in. Anybody have any coupon codes or anything!!!!

   Rental charges have shot up in the past two years. Try Enterprise or Alamo. They are generally the lowest cost.

   All rental agency’s are pretty much comparable anymore.
   I’ve found Enterprise to run more specials than others. Also, we have one that is called Ugly Duckling, but I don’t know anything about them.

   You may find lower prices if you fly into Tampa instead, and use one of the off-brand car rental companies just off the airport property.
