I travelled to St Maarten and stayed at an all inclusive resort. All of the people there talked about the fabulous time they had at an all-inclusive in Aruba. It seemed that everyone had been there or had heard about it and said it was the best. The one at Maho Beach Resort in St Maarten was not the best. If you were on one side of the hotel you were directly above the casino and it was very noisy every night. If you were on the other side, you faced the sewage ponds and a wrecked condo project that was flattened in a storm and had never been rebuilt.

The only all inclusive trips I have taken have been cruises which I liked because I just unpacked once, settled in, then could choose if/when I wanted to go on shore excursions, or explore all the wonderful activities offered aboard the ship.

As the other answerer said – drinks, massages, beauty salon, etc. on board were NOT included, but there was a lot that was. It all depends on what you like to do what your tastes are.

Best thing would be for you your wife to do what he did – type in all inclusive vacations in your browser search line review what comes up, then keep adding a keyword until you narrow it down to just those that fit the activities, locations, etc. that both of you like.

I typed in the words all inclusive just today and up came a whole bunch of ideas. Most of these resorts are in the Bahamas, Mexico, Caribbean, or Jamaica. I saw club med, sandals, vacations to go,and many more. As far as cruises, I have been on 8 cruises all with Princess and loved them all, but remember alcohol and soft drinks are not included on most cruise ships.
