Next summer, a friend and I are going to be taking a drive out to Michigan then Texas and back to California.. We’ll be 17 then. Will we be able to get a room in other states? I don’t know which ones we will be driving through exactly, but in general, how old do You have to be? Can a parent give consent?
I never said it was a boy, I’m going to be traveling with a girl, parents know. So one room will do.

I Think its Like 18+ someone has to be to get a room in a hotel. in most places
18?
It may be ok w/ parent consent
I believe it is 18 in Texas
Do your parents know you’re traveling with a boy?
You need to get separate rooms!….LOL
Depending on the hotel, you would have to be at least 18 (some require 21 or 25). You have to sign a contract when you check in, which you can’t do until you’re 18.
Also check to make sure you can legally drive in the other states when you’re under 18. Some states and cities don’t allow those under 18 to drive if they’re from out of state.
